Core Values are our deeply ingrained belief systems that guide how we behave. We all have them. They can be formed from childhood family experiences, past experience or who you spend your time with and what you think on. We must be intentional about forming our Core Values to ensure they align with Kingdom Principles.

Keeping your love on. It's a hard thing to do, sometimes it's the hardest thing to do! But if you want to build healthy relationships with God and others, learning to keep your love on is non-negotiable. Adults and children alike thrive in healthy relationships where it is safe to love and be loved, to know and be known. Yet for many, relationships are anything but safe, loving, or intimate. Many of us have the same communication skills we learned as children. We've never examined them or acquired better ones. So, in the midst of conflict and everyday communication, we find ourselves faltering. Brave communication is about being prepared. It's about being gentle and powerful. It's about getting the love and grace we have in our hearts out. It will empower you with a new mindset and practical skills that enhance your everyday in-the-moment connection with friends and strangers and keep you from panicking, avoiding, or attacking in the midst of conflict.

If you want guidance in working through and qualifying what your core values are, Arrows: Releasing Kingdom Children by Seth Dahl is a 13 week parenting video class designed to equip parents in raising their children to live a kingdom lifestyle. The name comes from Psalm 127. Like warriors of old hand-crafted their arrows and released them to defeat the enemy, we as parents get to partner with God in preparing our children and
releasing them to destroy the enemy, bringing God's kingdom to earth.
Does your life feel like it's out of control? Perhaps you feel like you have to say yes to everyone's requests. Maybe you find yourself readily taking responsibility for others' feelings and problems. Or perhaps you focus so much on being loving and unselfish that you've forgotten your own limits and limitations. Or maybe it's all of the above. In the New York Times bestseller, Boundaries, Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend help you learn when to say yes and know how to say no in order to take control of your life and set healthy, biblical boundaries with your spouse, children, friends, parents, co-workers, and even yourself.
